Heritage, Hard Work, Family, & Phenomenal Beef

welcome to our home. and our passion.

OUR MISSION is providing your family with the highest quality, lean, flavorful beef through intentional herd management, premium genetic development, focus on efficiency, and exceptional animal treatment.

BUT MORE than that, we’re about family and teaching our children the value of a hard day’s work. Our family has been in the beef cattle industry for 6 generations and the 7th is learning their way around our ranch in central Texas.

WE BELIEVE in faith, family, and agriculture as essential elements in the foundation of American life and recognize the important, unifying role of gathering for a meal. We believe in putting healthy, high-quality beef on the tables of American homes and are committed to serving our communities through food.

WE BELIEVE in family + heritage + joy + hard work.

our beef

We think about beef a little differently: our focus is on what we provide to your family, not following industry buzzwords based on hide color or marketing. We believe the best beef comes from doing things right, exceptional animal care and management, and we’ll prove it. Our market beef is lean and healthy, well-marbled and flavorful, and most importantly, beef that you’re proud to serve to family and friends.

Each cut of our beef is grass-fed and grain-finished; is hand-selected for quality; and is personally managed from the first moment in the pasture all the way to your table.

our breeds

HUNTER LEWIS maintains purebred, registered herds but our market beef is a composite of the best genetics from three carefully selected breeds: Blonde d’Aquitaine, British White, and Japanese Black (Wagyu).

To our customers

National Beef Month

So we tend to lose track but bringing awareness to such a vital industry in our country is important to us. We’d like to take…
